Purple
Butterfly Bush Photo
taken from my perennial garden at house
I was looking up a poem to put with this, I was intrigued with the history of this poem
(it has nothing to do with the picture)
Gelett wrote this poem and became famous for it
Purple Cow
I never saw a Purple Cow,
I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one.
I never hope to see one;
But I can tell you, anyhow,
I'd rather see than be one.
two years later he wrote this
Ah, yes, I wrote the "Purple Cow"—
I'm Sorry, now, I wrote it;
But I can tell you Anyhow
I'll Kill you if you Quote it
I'm Sorry, now, I wrote it;
But I can tell you Anyhow
I'll Kill you if you Quote it
Makes you think do people regret their success or maybe just how they got there??
