I have been going crazy over two crochet poncho sweater thingies they are amazingly gorgeous .. My mind has been trying to wrap around how they were made so let me share cause they are fantastic

Crochet Eagle Hat

Over the football season I was looking for ideas of things I could crochet that's when the first eagle hat was hooked and it became a huge hit everybody reminded us every game that you better bring the hat ... Well last week ..it was said can you make me one before Christmas so I've been hooking like crazy to get another hat done Eagle Hats have so many components and lots of sewing ...I keep saying this will be my last one

Playing With Yarn

Browsing over my Pinterest pins ...I have a Next Projects  to keep track of what I really want to do next but I end up having to do what I need to do like the Santa hat it was for a nice lady saying how fast can you crochet me a Santa hat well I figured out ...not that fast... Because I  get frustrated over patterns and end up doing it the way I want to instead(which takes a lot longer) then following other people's patterns like the crocheted  elf shoes another not on my next project pins... my daughter came home and said hey mom I need a green shirt and pants for a play "I'm going to be an elf" do y'all have any idea how hard it is to find green pants well it was a I'm done searching and looking... Went out and bought green fleece and made some quick pj pants but of course as soon as I was putting the elf costume together I wanted elf slippers for her .. Crochet pattern were few and far between so again a lot of ripping out and starting over till I figured out something that worked... Wow that was a rant back to Pinterest next project section I pinned a houndstooth scarf a while back thinking I'll get to that next but as you can see other projects keep getting in the way ...but I started it tonight  and am enjoying the pattern here's a pic

On The Hook
1.Chevron blanket

3. I do have a Beach towel not complete yet I'll have to pull it back out so I can take pics
But on the Needles is another story
1. shrug

3. A never ending men's sweater which might never be complete
I think that narrows down everything but there might be something else shoved in a closet somewhere

Crochet Rose Rug

When we moved I decided to crochet our bathroom rugs.. oh ya forgot...just to fill everyone in since leaving blog world in April we have moved twice yup twice so there's a little tid bit of the past year I'll keep filling you in over the following post ...thought I'd show you some of the hook projects I've been doing 

Yes that's bleach spots the rug is I think 7 months old now so it's bound to get bleach splattered on it at some point in my house

The pattern was made up because I couldn't find a free pattern ..I saw shawls and blankets with these field of roses and I just had to try

I have finally took the time to sit down and log back on to my blog it has been so long I have so many things to share so much has changed since the last post..I don't even know where to start ... . I am having surgery next week so this will be a slow process of catching up on the blog... can you be patient with me !? So.... I missed Hump Day Hookery  yesterday ...so I'll just give some peeks to what's flying off my handy dandy hook

Shifting

To Shift : to move or to cause (something or someone) to move to a different place, position, etc

 we're moving again ... relocating again .. MOVE works but I'm feeling more like putting down something in the lines of We're a Nomadic or transient family so Shifting is what I came up with but needless to say we are in the process of leaving one place and arriving at another I will be off line for a few months during this shift in life
