Crochet Fingerless Gloves

Finished these today...I was crocheting the other day and my hands were freezing ... And so I went to work on these... Thought I'd better do fingerless so I can still crochet .... my fingers are still cold but my hands are nice and toasty

I chose a deep cranberry color ....going through the no that's not right ...tear it out .....restart..... working on it a little each day ...so I don't stress over it ....cause I have the tendency to do that...and do it quite well

Valentine's Day Recap

For some reason holidays to me become about the food and Valentine's Day is no different. With one big exception instead of asking myself what do I want? I think what does he want?... Then goes back to  what new recipe can I try what have I not made him before? well, what is his favorite foods?... Okay so I thought about it and came up with two things I've never made and he loves ....
Before I share just given everyone my husbands two cents.....
My love hates  holidays in general hates that the focus on everything is what did you get me 'what did you buy me, he hates that all holidays are so commercialized and I understand his point he thinks you should not need a special day to show the loved ones in your life how much you care you show them all through out the year and he's pretty good at showing me he cares he has flaws but so do I lots of them and I'll be the first to point them all out loud and clear doesn't mean I'm changing....its me its just who I am..as I say to my kids "I'm the mama gotta love me," stold that from baby dinosaur from the TV sitcom Dinosaurs
Okay before I go on and on I am going to admit one of my flaws that goes with everything I just said ....aheem!! My first thought for Valentine's Day was not what does he want? it was...what do I want? ha I'm guilty so guilty ... Chocolate lots of chocolate that was the answer!!!! So breakfast was Triple Chocolate Muffins oh yay and they where definitely for me here's the recipe link I would of took a picture but between me and my three goblins all 12 were gone before I could say snap

These chocolate muffins ..( I know it say cupcakes but if it doesn't have frosting I dont call it a cupcake).... were so easy and soooo sooo good!

She Crab Soup ...Yes soup no big huge 7 course dinner... my love is very easy to please when it comes to food he is a picky eater but he knows what he likes and he loves She Crab Soup

Warning! This yarn splits

Yarn splitting causes splitting headache...I have always wanted to start an all cotton yarn blanket and that beach towel I was talking about a couple weeks a go ..got tore out and restarted into the granny stripe blanket but it is moving along a lot slower than I thought .... Every time I think I'm done with a row and I turn and start working the next row I find a loop split which I can't stand so I have to tear out all those stitches to fix it.. its kind of been aggravating  for a simple pattern that is usually a soothing  rhythm-attic crochet... We have Hobby Lobby's like crazy around here which is great but we don't have a lot of other options for yarn unless I drive an hour so the Hobby Lobby yarn has been my go to ... Which means "I love this cotton" was the choosen yarn and I'm kind of screaming at it no not kind of really screaming at it !!

My Take On A Crochet Granny Cowl

A little while ago I showed a pic of a granny starburst square well it was for my Granny Cowl I forgot to put it up when I finished it  I just put it with my coat and admired  how well they go together ...like peanut butter and jelly.. ya that good they were meant for each other it is probably one of my favorite projects I've done

Um just a little Knitting

Working on an infinity cowl ... Wanted an airy cowl I think I like the pattern I did find another one after I started that I liked better but that's just as well Ill just start that one when this is done

Crochet Granny Stripe

Chevron Blanket is done which has put my mood in to happy then sad then happy total roller coaster but I already had my granny stripe started another easy pace relaxing pattern...trying to stick to 2 rows a day so I'm thinking 4 to 5 months to done we'll see ...it really gets my excitement on a high

I am in aww! At how well this blanket has turned out ..My only let down is I can't take it to a football game until next season it will definitely not come fast enough
